4. V8 R810 - Note: HMC V8R8.1 is supported on rack-mount models CR5, CR6, CR7 and CR8; and on desktop model C08. These listed models meet or exceed the V8R8.1 minimum memory requirement of 2GB; 4GB is recommended.
5. V7 R780, V7 R780 SP1, V7 R780 SP2, V7 R790, V7 R790 SP1, V7 R790 SP2, V7 R790 SP3 - Note: HMC V8 does not support Power5 systems or firmware levels and some HMC models are not supported. 6. V7 R790, V7 R790 SP1, V7 R790 SP2, V7 R790 SP3 - Note: HMC V7.R790 is the last HMC release to support Power 5 servers.
7. V7 R780, V7 R780 SP1, V7 R780 SP2 - Note: HMC Version 7.7.8 requires model CR3 or later model rack-mount HMC or C05 or later deskside HMC. Models CR2, C03, and C04 are not supported. Model C05 is not supported when the HMC is managed by IBM Systems Director. HMC Version 7.7.8 requires a minimum of 1Gig of memory; 4Gig is recommended. IBM Product Engineering recommends that you plan to upgrade to the EM350 Release Level during your next planned firmware maintenance window.
12. EM310_057, EM310_063, EM310_069, EM310_071, EM310_074 - Note: Release 310 End of Service Statement: While IBM will still support systems at this release level, the EM310 Release Level is no longer being supported with Service Packs as of June 2009. IBM Product Engineering recommends that you plan to upgrade to the EM350 Release Level during your next planned firmware maintenance window.
